Unfortunately, I did not end up participating in The Amazing Readathon - epic fail. IN FACT! I did not finish a single book in June. Life's a bitch. BUT! I finished ONE book in July. It was a re-read (Six of Crows), and I should be finishing the sequel (Crooked Kingdom) shortly here at at… Continue reading June’s Failure and July’s Slightly Better Finish

What I Read in May
For Stephen King fans, this will probably be redundant, but did you know that the movie, Stand By Me, was based on a book called The Body by Stephen King? I sure didn't. 🙂 So one of my life's goals was to finish a Stephen King book and (fingers crossed) like it! I find his… Continue reading What I Read in May
Reading Style and Current Reads
So, I find people's reading styles curious. Mostly, are you a one-book-at-a-time reader, do you read more than one book at a time, or are you maniacal like I am and read like a dozen at at time? We Read in Moments of Time

It made me happy to read about the joy so many of these books provided and the freedom with which I… Continue reading We Read in Moments of Time

Choosing a Library Book to Read
I have nine library books, and I am not sure which I want to read first, so I thought it would be fun to read a chapter in each and see which might catch my fancy. 🙂 Here are my choices (with random blurbs I found): The Iron Garden Sutra by A. D. Sui -… Continue reading Choosing a Library Book to Read
Lots (and lots) of New Books!
I spent about a year not reading for health reasons, and I was super excited to get back into reading at the end of last year. Part of that excitement was re-discovering BookTubers and BookTokers and Bookstagramers and part of that excitement was finding information about read-a-thons. And that enthusiasm led to a shopping spree!… Continue reading Lots (and lots) of New Books!
